We study:
Class, Hierarchy, Inequality & Lifestyle (CHIL) Lab
Class, Hierarchy, Inequality & Lifestyle (CHIL) Lab is a research group studying the structures and everyday practices that shape social stratification, lead by Dr. Hyunjin Koo at CSU San Marcos. We explore how class positions, hierarchical relationships, and systems of inequality are produced, maintained, and challenged across different cultural and institutional contexts. Our work pays special attention to lifestyle patterns, consumption, and lived experiences as windows into broader dynamics of power and social organization.
